Motion Detection

Motion sensors are strategically placed around the home to alert the Rest Assured^® Tele-Caregiver of movement in the home. These sensors are used in lieu of cameras in more private areas such as bedrooms and bathrooms. We have a variety of different motion sensors. Some can pick up motion in an entire room while others can pinpoint where a person is in a room (i.e., entering the shower, standing next to bed, etc.). As an individual walks past one of these sensors, it cues the Tele-Caregiver in to activities that he or she cannot see. Motion sensors also assist the Tele-Caregiver in knowing where to pan the camera to assure all activities in common living areas are monitored for safety.
