Client specific protocols
Each agency, provider, or family member fills out a detailed Protocol Questionnaire that addresses items such as client demographics, living environment, access and egress, detailed contact information, kitchen capabilities, dietary restrictions, health status, medication and administration issues, personal safety, sleep habits and many other items.
For example, if a client generally sleeps through the night but occasionally awakes confused and disoriented, this is noted and a protocol is established.
As another example, the bedroom hallway motion detector indicates movement after the client’s usual bedtime. The Rest Assured Remote Caregiver is notified and they initiate a real-time video conference session with the home to check on the client. If the client is safe but disoriented, the Rest Assured Remote Caregiver will help orient the person to time and place and direct the client back to the bedroom to sleep.
The circumstances that can be monitored and the scripted responses available to agencies, providers, or family members are limited only by the client’s needs and environment.
